About Apogee

Apogee is a free daily maths game. Five questions, a pixel rocket, and a bell curve that shows how you did against everyone else that day.

Why it exists

Many daily games are about words. Apogee is for people who like numbers: a short, fair challenge that takes about a minute, the same for every player, with speed as the thing that sets scores apart. The questions run from simple arithmetic up to algebra, so there is something in it for school students, parents, and anyone who wants to keep their mental maths sharp.

How it is made

Apogee is built and run by one person in Western Australia. The questions, timing and scoring all happen on the server, so every score is earned fairly. There are no accounts needed to play, and your flight is tied to a random id rather than to your name. The privacy page explains what is stored.

Ads

Apogee is free to play. It may show ads to cover the running costs. Ads never appear while you are answering a question.
